My name is Donnasue Jacobi and I'm the owner of Just Like Home Pet Sitting & Training. I'm also the one who will be taking care of your pet(s) and home most of the time. I do have a couple of wonderful women who help out during busy vacation and holiday periods. They are professionals, very trustworthy, are insured and trained by me in all facets of pet care. Each is supplied with a Pet First AId kit. I will always be contacted for any emergency, big or small, whether health or behavior related.

I'm a dog owner and currently I have a Rottweiler (Sunny, 3 years old). I also have a new German Shepherd puppy, named Erik (1 year old on Easter Sunday). I have had and trained German Shepherds since 1982. My training has been in the areas of obedience, sheep herding, track scenting and Schutzhund (a German Sport for dogs and handlers). I also did therapy work with teenagers with my female GSD.

I worked as a volunteer puppy raiser for GSD rescue for 2 years and raised 10 puppies. The puppy ages were from 8 weeks to 8 months and all but one had some serious behavior or health problems. My love and training got all of my puppies ready for new homes within 2-3 months, and all my pups were potty trained, crate trained, knew basic obedience for sit, stay, down, here (come) and loose-leash walking in English and German. Some puppies were able to learn corresponding hand signals as well.

In other words, I know how to work with most any kind of dog -- and their people.
